Rachel Scott

Rachel Scott feels privileged to teach ballet and pointe at LADC, where she truly feels at home. She grew up training under Salwa Rizkalla, Director of Festival Ballet Theater, studying the Vaganova method of ballet. She performed full-length ballets such as Swan Lake, The Nutcracker, Sleeping Beauty, and Coppelia, dancing as a soloist alongside guest artists from the world’s top ballet companies. She danced primarily ballet until receiving a full scholarship at DeFore Dance Center at 18 when she began studying all styles of dance. Rachel then performed in various stage productions, industrials, and as a company member with Jazz Spectrum ahs Bare Dance Company. She now uses her unique background to teach classical dance to commercial dancers. Miss Rachel enjoys getting her students ready and conditioned for the next stage of their ballet training, which is being invited to join the pointe technique class. She loves what she does and counts her blessings every day!
